This kit contains .stl and .step files for 3D printing 13 different PolyNodes, as well as .dxf files for optional laser cutting certain parts.  PolyNodes are an easy way to add features to your gear :

• Securely combine heavy material layers  with no sewing

• Anchor adjustable strap systems

• Run wires through hidden holes with strain relief and anti-fraying features

• One model has accommodations for 5mm LEDs

• One model is a small container

• One model can mount ChemicalMate cyborg ration chips

• All of them are good for just adding a shiny thingy to your outfit!

STEP and DXF files:

• STEP files are easily editable in CAD programs.  Want to add magnets or spikes or something like that?  Make it so!  (Why didn't I think of those two features before now??)

• Some models have STEPs designed for advanced slicing and multi-material prints

• DXF files for cut lines are provided for laser cutting of insert parts.  Design your own patterns and cut from your preferred material (1.5mm - 3mm acrylic recommended).

Requirements:

• Designed for FDM PLA

• Build envelope: all parts are under ~2 x 2"

• Common M3 or M4 hardware depending on model

• Laser cutting and LED features are optional

Files include:

• STLs for all parts

• STEPs for all parts (some parts have slight tolerance differences from STLs)

• DXFs for all Insert parts (for example, the purple part of the hexagon)

• Detailed instructions for assembly, installation, and a breakdown of all models

• More example photos
