Hardcase modification.  Add a biometric reader with LED indicator to a container or other flat surface.  Slide the thumb pad forward to engage the subdermal nano needle DNA sampling system.  You won't feel a thing!  Puncture-free sampling is also 100% safe for pressure suits!
 
Partial engagement of thumbpad displays a red light while sampling is in process.  Sliding the pad completely forward will complete the sample, turning the light blue and unlocking the case if biometrics are validated.  A discrete lockout switch can disable all access (the red light will not turn blue).  Biometric programming is encoded from HXC-MED database before shipping (don't worry about it)
 
Installation requires access to back side of host surface.  Use the provided template to drill holes, then screw in the provided M3x12mm screws with a 2mm hex wrench.  The provided screws allow installation on materials up to 6mm thick.
 
In case it needs to be said, this is a roleplay prop.  No needles or biometric data are involved.
