Improvements: The chunky central hub is removed entirely, the LEDs run cooler, and of course an RGB version is now available.  Most notably, I've had a few units develop flickering; despite extensive effort to reinforce and protect the LED filament, it seems any amount of flexibility introduces a chance for the delicate filament to become damaged.  The updated version replaces the LED filament with much more durable LED strips.

I would like to offer these improvements to verifiable 9B customers.  The steps are as follows:
 
1. Get the applicable coupon code either by contacting me or through Mr. DePalma.
2. Add this item to cart
3. In the cart, enter the coupon code. This will reduce the price to zero (one-way shipping will still be charged)
4. You will be emailed a prepaid return shipping label.  Package the collar, print the label, attach the label, and drop it off at a USPS office.
5. When I receive the returned collar, I'll send the replacement as ordered within 2 weeks
 
Multiple collars can be traded in with a single transaction/shipping charge.  Just add however many you have to the cart and the code will apply to each of them.  Any mismatch of quantity ordered vs. returned will get you a confused email and a refund of your $0.
 
This trade in program will be available through March 2027, and in-person at Neotropolis 2027.  If the process stalls for one month, I'll contact you and the sale may be cancelled and refunded.
 
Of course, if you like the 9B, this makes them pretty rare.  I only made 17 and only sold them at Neo26.  I had to remove the nifty LED filament inlay technique, an unfortunate tradeoff for reliability.  Might be a neat collector's item eventually (unlikely).
