Repaired submachinegun with auto-bolt and HUD-linked optics package.

This antique was recovered from a salvaged colony ship. It had sustained damage to the gas-operated charging system, and was passed over by the larger salvage buyers. As one of Starside Armory's earliest projects, the as-is price tag was appealing.

The bolt was repaired with a homebrew servo system. A push of a button replicated the "HK slap" charging action - an admittedly unsatisfying replacement. An obsolete AR imaging package was also integrated into the repairs, as the original weapon had no accessory rails. A custom power source for both systems was installed in the butt stock.

These repairs and modifications are less than ideal, but I worked with what I had available at the time. The reliability of the German-engineered host firearm is the main reason this thing is still kicking. The improvised mods make it difficult to service the weapon, so it is not for sale.
